The Final Step - The Thank You Letter
The thank you letter following an interview can make a big impact on a potential employer. It can often make their decision on whom to offer a position to. Here are a few simple tips on writing an effective thank you letter:
Keep your letter, simple with three paragraphs. In the first, thank the interviewer for the opportunity of the interview. In the middle paragraph, remind them of your qualifications. You can also fill in any gaps you felt were left open in the interview. In the final paragraph, express your sincere interest in the position. Be sure to proofread your letter for grammatical errors. Finally, the thank you letter should be sent as soon as possible following the interview.
