Your Interview Attire

Along with your resume, your interview is very important in how you impress potential employers. Your first impression is made within the first thirty seconds of the interview. So, it is important to look your best. You want to make sure you look clean and professional.

For your clothing, you want to dress conservatively. Men should wear a suit or sport jacket and nice pants, in a dark or neutral color. Wearing a tie is also very important and clean and polished leather shoes are a must. Women should wear a dark colored pant or skirt suit and avoid clothing that are too tight or revealing. Nails should be trimmed to a normal length and the polish should be a neutral or conservative color, to not draw attention. Men and women should also cover any tattoos and avoid extravagant jewelry. And remember your first impression is often the most important, so dress your best.
